Great excursion. Better sound quality on both the train and the community hall would enhance the experience.
This was an amazing experience - wonderful family entertainment, great food, interesting museums, and a train ride too!!
So worth the drive from Calgary!...and I've also enjoyed Aspen Crossing train ride.The staff were fabulous...some noteables Maverick and Shane.... and the entertainment;)I can honestly say great for all ages (our group had 7 yrs to 17yr kids)...and adult kids at heart...ha ha!Beautiful scenery...big ski....fully licensed (for all cars), comfortable (with windows open!!....on a hot day!)Only suggestion- start the dinner tour a few hours earlier please....so that it's finished by 5 or 6 for those who come from Calgary and further South /West...it might even improve your guest bookings more....Thank you and we hope to see you again soon!
We had a Wonderful time. Great Staff, commentary, Train Robbers, Town of Big Valley is awesome. A roast beef dinner was served buffet style and was very tasty. A nice walk around town and some shopping was fun,of course a trip to the jail is a must! We enjoyed a drink in the bar car too on the way back to Stettler. We look forward to return to take the Seniors Tour again. Thank you to all who bring back the good old days of train travel.
